Limits to check

• Canva estimates a shared monthly allowance of up to 200 Standard or 20 Premium AI uses on Free; 2,000 Standard, 200 Premium, or 20 Ultra on Pro; and 4,000 Standard, 400 Premium, or 40 Ultra on Business and Enterprise. Complex or mixed tasks can reduce those totals; some included AI design tools use separate fair-use limits. Canva calls its usage limits operational controls, not fixed entitlements. Pro and Business can add a recurring monthly AI Pass, described as up to 40× more AI than Pro or 20× more than Business across the shared Standard, Premium, and Ultra pool. After an AI Pass allowance is exhausted, Canva says Pro and Business users can keep using premium AI features with short pauses. The public AI Pass page does not state a price, so check Billing before buying.
• Canva's AI terms say that, as between you and Canva and where law permits, you own output and may use it lawfully at your own risk. Canva separately says eligible enterprise customers receive indemnification for intellectual-property claims stemming from content made with Magic Studio, but its public Canva Shield page does not define exact eligibility or coverage terms. Confirm them in the signed agreement before client delivery. Output that modifies or includes Canva library content remains subject to that content's license, and outputs may not be unique.
• Canva says its privacy settings control whether user content may improve AI features. Business, Teams, and Enterprise content, plus content from students using Canva Education, is not used for that purpose. Inputs may still be shared with Canva's technology partners to provide an AI feature, while third-party Canva apps have their own terms.
