Limits to check

• GitHub's current pages conflict on third-party agents in Copilot Pro. The Pro card and GitHub's agent documentation say paid plans include Claude and Codex, while the same plan page's feature table marks third-party agent delegation unavailable on Pro and included on Pro+ and Max. These integrations are in public preview. GitHub separately says signing into the Codex VS Code extension with Copilot requires Pro+ or Max, so confirm the exact surface before subscribing.
• GitHub's plan table lists $15, $70, and $200 in total monthly AI Credits for Pro, Pro+, and Max, including variable flex allotments. The same page's FAQ separately says Max includes $100 monthly, so confirm the current Max allowance before subscribing. Model choice and token use determine consumption. Existing annual subscribers may remain on legacy premium-request billing until their term ends.
• Copilot cloud agent uses both AI Credits and GitHub Actions minutes. Each Copilot code review uses AI Credits, and reviews on private repositories also consume GitHub Actions minutes.
• On Copilot Free, Pro, Pro+, and Max, GitHub may use interactions—including inputs, outputs, code snippets, and associated context—to train and improve AI models unless you opt out. This can include code from a private repository processed while Copilot is active; GitHub says content in private repositories at rest is not used. GitHub does not use Copilot Business or Enterprise customer data to train AI models.
• GitHub says the Copilot desktop app may generate code that matches or nearly matches publicly available code even when ‘Suggestions matching public code’ is set to ‘Block.’
• The experience and feature set differ across editors, GitHub, and the command line.
